1. What Mountaineer Signal Is

Mountaineer Signal is an independent, unofficial WVU sports aggregation site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to West Virginia University, WVU Athletics, the Big 12 Conference, or any of the publishers we link to.

2. Content & Attribution

Mountaineer Signal publishes AI-generated summaries of WVU sports stories. We link to original publishers and do not republish full articles. All headlines, bylines, and reporting credit belong to the original publishers. If you are a publisher and wish to request removal of a link or summary, contact jbrooks@unisonsecurity.com.

3. AI-Generated Content

Story summaries, signal scores, and "why it matters" explanations are generated by AI and reviewed by human editors. They may contain errors. Every story card includes a "Fact issue?" button to report problems. Corrections are published promptly.

4. No Warranty

Mountaineer Signal is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Signal scores reflect editorial judgment and are not guarantees of accuracy or importance. Sports news changes rapidly — always verify with original sources.

5. Limitation of Liability

Mountaineer Signal is not liable for any damages arising from use of the site, including reliance on AI-generated summaries or signal scores. Users click through to external publishers at their own risk.

6. User Conduct

By using Mountaineer Signal, you agree not to scrape, republish, or redistribute our AI summaries or signal scores without attribution. You may share links freely.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted on this page.
